The Project Engineer position is designed as an entry-level position oriented towards learning the construction process through bidding and managing construction projects. Many of the duties are designed specifically to develop the skills required for project management. We try to avoid specialization and instead, focus on learning and developing the skills that will eventually be required of a Project Manager.

During the first month of employment, the Project Engineer will work on several field crews, meeting our foremen and getting to know firsthand, the type of work we do. Additional management skills will be added over a two year training period.

• Contract Interpretation
• Cost Control
• Safety
• Submittals
• Change Orders
• Labor Relations
• Time Management

You will be challenged to learn a great deal in a short period of time. It is our goal to assist you in any way we can to make your training period a successful transition on your road to successful career in construction project management.

Our qualifications for Project Engineer:

• A degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or
• Construction Management from an accredited college or university.
